Testimonials from last year's conference

Set high goals and surround yourself with others who can help you get there.

The title of the event is so fitting; Power (an affirmation that we have it) and Possibilities (to know that anything can happen). I highly recommend this event to others.

The Leadership Institute invites you to the Third Annual Power and Possibilities: A Leadership Conference for Women of Color. Come expand your network, hear success stories of women leaders, share experiences and open doors to future opportunities.

Make your ideas reality...

The conference begins with keynote presentation by Elizabeth Kautz. "Courage, Commitment and Implementation" discusses the important stages of turning a vision into concrete results. Elizabeth shares her leadership philosophy of having the courage to create a vision, and the commitment to ensure goals are achieved. Elizabeth also highlights the three roads that have shaped her leadership - business, politics and ministry.

As the forum progresses local leaders ask you to find your voice. At 4:15 p.m. we focus on the smaller table groups and explore each person's view point. Following are the topics of table discussion.
